To control the input volume levels of Converge 560/590 via RS-232, I am using the CLEARONE (Multiple Units) Single Volume Crestron Control module to control the Line Output:
Here are the parameters:
TYPE-ID-ASCII = C
UNIT-ID-ACII = 0
Channel ID-ASCII=2
CHANNEL-ID-HEX =02
PARAMETER-ID-HEX= 4F
(This works smoothly and I don't have any issues with regards to level feedbacks. etc.)

Here's my question:
1.)What are the parameters of the entries in ASCII & HEX codes to control the (a) LINE INPUT, (b)PLAYBACK INPUT , (c) TELEPHONE RX and the (d) TELPHONE TX using the same module?
2.) On the wireless DIALER, can I use the Up & Down VOLUME BUTTONS to control the Telephone RX instead of the SPEAKER output of the CONVERGE?( Note: We're using a separate amp coming out of the line output)
Thank you very much in advance.

I didn't use the module first of all just an SIO.

Generally speaking I only provide a range of adjustment not total control

#C0 GAIN 1 L 0 -2 Rel \x0D

<set channel 1 line input on unit 0 to -2 relative,could have done A, and carriage return>
#C0 GAIN 1 R 0 -2 Rel\x0D
<set receive channel 1 on unit 0 to -2 Rel \x0D>
could use T for transmit etc.

C0 is for the 560

Use Controller builder.
I personally wouldn't do that we are only requied to provide good known levels.
Think of a XAP or converge we set good known levels and turn up outr outputs really don't like changing input levels. It would be like increasing gain levels before AEC its a very bad idea.
Changing levels after AEC is the way to go. Therefore IMHO look out outputs not inputs.
If you forced to adjust inputs do so in very very small amounts. Things like 5 DB of swing work best.
I use an analog increment and an analog equate. Then a SIO.
