I received this procedure from Clearone tech Support. I found it to be very helpful and thought it might be a good post for anyone setting up their SR1212A

Setup:

1. Calibrate your mics for 0 db on the post gain meter.
2. Set all reinforced mics to MANUAL ON under Gating.
3. Turn off NOM on your outputs or Poweramp outputs (This gives worst case)
4. Use Brown PRE-AEC cross points to route your mics to a process channel, then from the
process channel to the Amp outputs.
5. Raise the process channel until you get a slight ring in the room.
6. Set the number of fixed filters to 16.
7. Set the filter depth mode to unlocked.
8. Turn RING ELIMINATION off.
9. Set your desired TARGET GAIN before feedback
10. Run the SETUP
11. After the setup, set the number of Fixed filters to the number of nodes created by the setup
process.
12. Set the FILTER DEPTH mode to LOCKED.
13. Turn on RING ELIMINATION, if desired.
14. Turn NOM back on at the outputs.
15. Set the mics back to AUTO GATING.

Good procedure. Thanks for posting.

Im trying to find out if anyone has any info on how the "Ringing Eliminator" works.

Ive tried on many installs to see if this check box actually has any benefits - as far as I can tell it does absolutely nothing. Even if I put a system into on-the-edge hollow sounding pre full-on feedback, it does nothing.

Ive asked Clearone support but I just get pasted text from the manual. They dont seem to know or want to state how it actually works.

Is it a frequency shifter? Echo chancellor? Combination of both like the Bosch Plena? What is it?

Please if anyone knows or has experience that this feature actually has benefits do tell!
