I've got a MAX IP Conference Phone from a Micrososft Response Point System. Response Point is dead by the Max IP is not.

Is there something I can do with the phone so that it will function as a plain vanilla SIP or IP phone that I can use with a 3CX PBX?

Thanks.

Regards,
Allen

Okay - my conference phone is the Max IP Response Point. I downloaded and installed the current firmware for the Max IP. It seems to be working but I am having some trouble with the internal dial plan configuration.

3CX has its way of managing dial plans. I am getting a little info on the ClearOne dial plan commands but have not been able to edit one to do what I want. I'm working on it.

Thought I was going to be able to figure this out but - alas - no go.

My Max IP is registered to my 3CX PBX. I can make a call from it (although I still don't have the dial plan config file import working) and I can receive a call but in both cases (inbound/outbound) once the call is connected there is no audio.

Okay I see that it is working since I rebooted the phone.

Still wondering about the dial plans?

Now I have the dial plans figured out so all is good.
