Pro AV  Technical Sales Engineer

The Technical Sales Engineer is the primary technical resource for the field Professional Audio Video (Pro AV) sales force. This position is responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the Regional Sales Managers as the key technical advisor and product advocate for our Pro AV products. This position must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to the Professional Audio Video market end users, integrators, customers and designers. This position must be able to identify all technical issues to assure complete customer and reseller satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. Must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle.

 RESPONSIBILITIES

Travel is required as direct end-user and partner meetings will comprise a major portion of this position. Candidate must possess Professional Audio Visual technical knowledge to make presentations and lead discussions to advance the sales process utilizing his/her Pro AV knowledge.

  • Responsible for development and delivery of Pro AV product demonstrations
  • Conduct end-user and Pro AV integrator training as needed
  • Conduct beta testing of new Pro AV products with end-customers and Pro AV integrators
  • Support functional and technical elements as required
  • Communicate end-user requirements to Product Management team
  • Must be prepared for extensive travel in assigned region

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Industry experience with emphasis on audio & video integration, as well as a technical background in the field of Professional Audio & Video is required.
  • The ideal candidate has professional audio & video integration market experience in the professional AV technology market.
  • End-customer and Pro AV sales channel support experience.
  • Must be a highly motivated self-starter and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
  • AA degree or CTS accreditations
  • The job can be based out anywhere in the UK
