Regional Sales Manager – Pro AV

The Regional Sales Manager, Pro AV will manage and grow his/her assigned region by establishing and developing relationships with end-user, manufacturers’ representatives, resellers and integrators and consultants. Will meet or exceed revenue targets in responsible territory.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The RSM for Pro AV is responsible for an annual revenue quota. This individual is expected to enter the sales process with a prospect at the highest possible level and must meet or exceed established sales quotas by presenting and selling products. This position will be responsible for sales planning and accurate forecasting. Travel is required as direct customer and partner contact will comprise a major portion of this position. Candidate must possess strong knowledge of sales cycle and exceptional technical knowledge to make presentations and lead discussions to advance the sales process.

  • Responsible for development and delivery of product demonstrations
  • Conduct customer and reseller training as needed
  • Conduct beta testing of new products with customers and resellers
  • Support functional and technical elements as required
  • Convey customer requirements to Product Management team
  • Must be prepared for extensive travel

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years high achievement consultative sales experience with emphasis in custom integration, as well technical background in audio and video is required.
  • End customer relationship building is key.
  • Must be highly motivated self-starter and possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop successful working relationships.
  • Must be people-oriented, eager to win, and a master of the sales process.
  • Excellent communication skills and a successful track record within a sales organization are required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business or Technology is preferred.
  • The ideal candidate must have demonstrated mastery of a long sales cycle with multiple clients preferably in the AV technology market.
  • Must have experience working with manufacturers’ representatives and understand how to manage them as well as how to evaluate and enhance their effectiveness.
  • Must be prepared for extensive travel in the assigned region.
