The Support Representative is at the forefront of ClearOne after-sales technical support service and pre-sales Technical sales service. This position interfaces with external and internal customers to resolve technical issues on all ClearOne products via the phone, e-mail, online web page, video conference. The main products include multimedia streaming and digital signage systems. It may include audio conferencing, distribution and video conferencing & collaboration.

  • Support service includes Technical support, assisting system design for pre-sales and required testing
  • Communicates with customer and understand their technical questions, needs and provide answers appropriately.
  • Understand the projects requests from customers & sales team and prepare a design & quotes with our products along with required supporting documents
  • Gathers problem descriptions, log files, configuration data, and analyze them in order to determine root cause of problems and finding solutions.
  • Maintains accurate documentation of all actions required to resolve issues in the technical support database.
  • Learns and maintains with up to date technical details about the existing and new products from ClearOne.
  • Documents known issues and solutions, technical bulletins.
  • Courteously and promptly resolve customer questions and problems, and maintain professional relationships with end users.
  • Provides input to Product Management, Application Testing  and assist with feedback.
  • Escalates technical issues accordingly as needed.
  • Works to reach and exceed the customer service satisfaction goals of ClearOne Technical Support.
  • Multi-task between several customer supports and other tasks at the same time.
  • Flexible to work on non-standard hours and holidays when needed.


  • Must have Bachelor's Degree or equivalent. Electronics, Computer science major is preferable.
  • 2-5 years experiences of technical support, troubleshooting, Audio, Video & Multimedia products
  • Working experiences of TCP/IP networking, Multimedia Streaming products, Integration experiences preferable
  • Working experiences of network analysis with network capture tools such wireshark, sniffer, etc.
  • Must be proficient with computers, Microsoft Windows and Office, Outlook tools.
  • Must be well balanced, organized overall picture and detail-oriented.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills including ability to train others.
  • Demonstration of a customer service orientation through a proven ability to work well with other people.
  • Self starter, Problem solving skill, good communication skill in English.
  • Take ownership and drive customer issue with strong leadership to solve.
  • Capable of working independently yet as part of a team and willing to work flexible hours as needed.
